Station Inn
"Room was pretty small for a family room as there was still no room for big suitcases. It was noisy and we were only told that upon arrival. Otherwise the rooms were tidy and clean and plenty of amenities available including tissues."
Penny Hedge, Whitby by Marston's Inns
"The rooms were very comfortable and plenty of space. They need to provide better toiletries (no soap in dispensers). Evening meal in the pub was lovely. The breakfast whilst plenty of choice wasn’t as good as it could have been. That been said it’s still worth a visit but just feel they could improve for the cost they charge for B&B."
The Dolphin
"I stayed with my husband and two kids and we loved it."
Argyle House
"We stayed for 2 nights and had an amazing stay, the room was so clean and well maintained with everything we needed. The instructions were also very clear regarding check in/out and parking. We would definitely recommend and would choose argyle house when back in Whitby. Thank you for a lovely stay!"
Whitby Bridge Luxury Apartments
"I stayed in the Penthouse Apartment for a one night stay to meet up with friends. The apartment is well-laid out - perfect for a single-traveller or a couple. The location is right in the heart of the historic town centre, so all the recommended sights of Whitby are within walking distance to you. The train station is a 5-10 minute walk away across the swing bridge, so it's an ideal location if you're travelling via that method. The chatter from the pub on the corner across from the apartments can reach up to the penthouse, particularly after closing time. I stayed on a Saturday night in August with decent weather, so the town was busy that night and I would imagine that it would be a lot quieter during the week or out-of-season. Overall though, it wasn't too bad and I still managed to get to sleep - the bed was comfortable too, which helped! I would definitely recommend staying here. The check-in & out process is straightforward, with detailed communication from the proprietors. The apartment is smart & modern, with a decent sized shower and kitchen facilities if you wanted to eat in. I would look to stay here again."
2 bedroom accommodation in Whitby
"Lovely property in a great location. Just bring extra toilet paper!"
The Shepherd's Purse
"We had the wole top floor which was great for the space and it had a nice homely feel to it with its little querks nice bathing area in the midle area of the appartment if you look on line you will see what i mean, you could av a couple of kids in the the other section specialy with it being at the other end of the room. Sloping ceiling so if you are tall u might bang your head, also there are stairs to clime 2 sets but worth it court yard area is very relaxing nice sit down with a cupa Asked it we wanted anything food drink wise very accomindating this was the regata wk end just gone smack in the center of things can recomend we will be booking again Annette /Paul"
Demeter Holiday Cottage
"Lovely cottage. Would definitely stay again. Clean, comfortable and in a good location. Access is via steep steps, which are a little challenging with heavy bags."
3 bedroom accommodation in Whitby
"While to cottage was nice and in a great location , it would have been cozier and quieter with carpets at least upstairs ,( I know they allow dogs down stairs)Unfortunately the whole time we were there , there was building work near by with the scaffold van parked on the curb right in front of the front door with bags and equipment piled up close to the door so it made it awkward for getting in and out , the noise from the scaffolding banging meant you couldn’t properly relax , I know this wasn’t the fault of the cottage , but I would have thought the council would have notified owners . As I probably would not have booked it on this occasion ."
