“Very nice apartment convenient for local attractions. Walking distance of Whalebone Arch. If, like me, you don’t have a var, it's within walkin distance of supermarket, local tourist bus which goes to all local attractions, including the Abbey. Be aware the loft appartment is up 3 flights of stairs, but once you reach it, it is very quaint and an ideal base. I was there when it was very strong winds and heavy rain, but the flat js very snug and warm so I was pleasantly surprised. Well stocked……

“No parking card left in the unit. Took day and 3/4 to get it. We had to pay for parking till then. When we got home to see if the card was there the lady had gone into our bedroom (door had been closed) to use our bathroom. Were left a “starter” kit which included 1 tea bag, 3 coffee sachets and no sugar for 2 people 4 days. Front blinds covered in dust. Washbasin needed cleaning under the plug. It had pink slime there. WiFi connection details were in correct in instructions need updating.……

“Wow, what an amazing place to stay in Whitby. Foxton Penthouse was central for us to have coastal walks and to walk into town. The apartment was very modern and had everything we needed to make our stay go well. Once in town you can cross the bridge and walk up the 199 steps to the Abbey. Or get the hop on hop off bus. The costumes of people dressed up in Gothic clothes added to our stay. ”

“Great weekend in Mallard Cottage. Had everything we needed and really comfortable beds. Close to the harbour and restaurants. Loved Pescado Lounge and great fish and chips at Abbey Wharf on the balcony overlooking the harbour. Will definitely back for a return visit! ”
