“We spent three fabulous days here in June/July 2024. The property itself is beautiful and in a spectacular setting. Communication with the owner was very smooth. The location is ideal for exploring the Shenandoah area and we enjoyed driving the Skyline Drive, a visit to Luray caverns and kayaking on the Shenandoah river. We came back in the evenings to eat out on the deck followed by relaxing in the hot tub and watching the spectacular sunsets. Very special memories made, totally recommended.”

“We stayed at this property for 4 days and it was a great choice regarding it's proximity to all of the surrounding destinations. The location is perfect for getting around and a provided EV charger is an added bonus if you can take advantage. The area is quiet so if you want to stay in and relax like we did for part of our stay, it is a great choice as well. This was our first time staying in a tiny house, so it did take a little time to adjust to the challenges such as the tall steps and the……

“We rented this house for a girls weekend and it was perfect! The house was so big, there were spaces we never used (like the basement game area). We enjoyed the large kitchen, the outdoor decks, the pavilion, and the views! It was quiet and beautiful. The house was well stocked and Megan was very responsive and helpful. We are already trying to figure out when we can go back! ”

“The house was very clean and spacious with little touches throughout. We cooked a couple meals while we were there and found absolutely everything we needed. 6 of us were there for our annual girls weekend and we all had plenty of space for ourselves. The driveway is a bit steep and awkward but we had no problem fitting/parking 3 SUV's. Would definitely stay again!”

“One (probably the smallest) of several lodgings on the property. Overall, a pretty cool place to stay. The whole unit has a subtle sway to rock you to sleep. Personally, I loved it. We stayed in 90 degree weather and the A/C was a LIFESAVER. My only real complaint was one of the other guests in the castle kept leaving the common kitchen a bit messy. Thinking about coming back and trying the hobbit house. We pretty much kept to ourselves, but there are plenty of common areas to hang out.”
