“Great location for Northern Presidential mountains”

“Town and Country is the only hotel I could find within an easy (45 minute) drive to Mount Washington, as we had tickets for the Mount Washington Cog Railway. As it seems to be the only one nearby, there was quite a diverse population staying. The rooms were nice, even though we were in the back of the hotel. We took advantage of the pool and hot tub, and they were pretty good. While we didn't eat at the restaurant, the food did look delicious and the menu was pretty large.”

“Staff was very friendly and welcoming! Enjoyed using the campfire and free breakfast! Had an amazing stay overall!Definitely recommend!”

“It was nice and clean, but we had only one bar of soap for both the shower and the bathroom sink for a two day stay. I’m sure it was thrifty on the part of the owner, or perhaps an accident, but it appeared skimpy from the standpoint of the guest. The news that those who are booked via, Expedia had to provide their home address information before they could get in could have resulted in a problem for us, especially since the office was permanently closed and phone calls were required to be in……
