This hotel is good for price, room is clean , sheets are clean, floor need update, customer service were excellent . I like that they include refrigerator and microwave. Breakfast is not completed, but we do not expect for the room price, we went to Johnny Pamcake, about 10 min drive. Our first night , the air in room was still and smell bad but second day, they cleaned up , felt better to breath.
Over all I give them 5 for the price.

The hallways are really nice and wide, something I haven't seen in a while. When I opened the door the room smelled really nice and fresh. The bed was comfortable, it was a sleep number bed so I could adjust it to my comfort level. Lots of pillows. In the bathroom there is a rain shower head as well as a regular one. The shower door only goes 3/4 of the way so does not completely close off the shower. This is the 2nd hotel I've been in that has shower doors like this, it makes no sense to...

The staff was wonderful! A woman who had already clocked out for the night helped myself and another gentleman because the person at the front desk had to go & help another guest with her room! You dont see that everyday! 10/10

Everything was just fine about this room.If I were to nit pick they could pay more attention to detail when cleaning the room.
Example is the wall was dirty tween the mirror & the sink.

No frills, just a quiet and tasteful property. The setting is awesome, tucked into the woods on the banks of the Rock River. One morning I sat on the deck overlooking the river for an hour or so in dead silence just watching the river flow by peacefully. Lots of families of Canadian geese and goslings, along with Egrets. Viola, BP down 20 points. Nice restaurant steakhouse right across the parking lot and a lovely cafe next door. This property was perfect for me and Northern Illinois is a...

We loved the property, and the room , but the elevator was on hold for at least 20 minutes, they told us the roof top was priority as they had a private event, I felt like because we only paid for one night we weren’t important, other then this small issue the hotel is very unique , love the fact they have bottles of wine at the room and the LP player with real vinyl records is amazing ! I’m staying there for Christmas and new years celebrations!

I was very impressed by the staff at the front desk and by the number of people the hotel was employing and supporting. Because of the staffing I saw, I would choose Country Inn again in the future.

This is a very beautiful hotel. I make it a point to compare every hotel I stay at, and this one stands out.
Allowing two dogs free of charge is a great bonus. The area is beautiful, and the lighting throughout the hotel is excellent—especially helpful for people with low vision.
The hotel is ADA accessible, and the staff all have great attitudes and provide excellent service.
The lobby is truly five-star, and the room is fabulous.
I would give this hotel 5 stars. The only thing I noticed...
