The owner has done a great job of turning a former factory into a cool place to stay. Hopefully, the surrounding area is renovated soon. In one direction there are closed stores with boarded-up windows and barely-open stores with bars on the windows. In the other direction is a downtown that once was. At 4:00 AM on Monday, a motorcyclist stopped in front of the hotel and revved his engine repeatedly (backfiring each time). He came back several times and repeated the process again and again. The hotel itself is very nice and the suite had a fun, unusual layout. The barn door separating the bathroom from the bedroom was installed in a way that doesn't allow privacy for the occupant in the bathroom.

Super friendly staff. My room on the 8th floor had a lot of water pump noises happening all the time day and night. The parking was very difficult due to events happening downtown. All three lots were full so we had to park in illegal areas that the staff said would be OK so some of us did that. While walking to my car one morning there was a very aggressive person with mental health issues who was yelling at me very loudly and getting closer so that made me feel unsafe, being alone and targeted like that.

Hotel is in great condition. Large rooms. Modern decor with large open space feel. The king room with a river view is worth the upgrade. Bar, restaurant and pool table are great too. The outdoor patio area facing the river is a nice to have option when traveling. Oh and the rooftop bar is AMAZING! I highly recommend
