Nice staff. Good breakfast. Convenient to everything I needed for work. Checked in and looked as if the room hadn’t been vacuumed - crumbs on the couch and around the ottoman. Hair in the shower. Left my DND sign off the door hoping that would trigger the staff to clean/tidy the room but that didn’t happen. Was there 3 nights and the room was never re-cleaned. To be clear, I never notified the desk that there was an issue. Just thought they would come through and make the bed and notice everything else. The water machine in the fitness area was broken and there’s electricians tape all over the top end of the weight bench. Just not a good look in my opinion. In the grand scheme, I travel a lot and this is neither the worst nor best experience I’ve had. I require very little from a property when I travel without my family. As my corporate office is in Winston Salem, I make frequent trips there from VA. Chose this property for convenience to meetings. Would stay in the area again for the convenience but probably not this property again.
