Just an absolute blast this property has everything and such responsive and professional staff. Pet friendly and for a reasonable fee which is hard to find nowadays and my dog loved all the space and felt comfortable.

The A Frame Club is perfectly situated at the base of Winter Park resort. The A-frame itself is in great condition and is very cozy. The staircase might be the smallest and steepest of its kind so I advise caution to anyone that’s not good with stairs.. The couch could have been a bit cozier, but the overall ambience makes up for it. The heated floors in the bathroom are great, and the views are fantastic. I recommend to clean the water in the hot tub now frequently and have non slip pads on the surface of the stairs leading to the hot tub. The A-Frame grill was fantastic. The cocktails and menu are extensive and very well prepared.

No daily cleaning

During our stay I don't think we had any visits from the cleaning crew. They had an envelope to give tips to them and I thought it was a joke. Overall the cabin was very nice and comfortable.

We had an excellent stay overnight at A-Frame Club. There was a problem with our hot water and the staff quickly resolved it. Otherwise, the stay was excellent.

Nice design and concept, restaurant was great. Common area next to stream was under construction-we had a view of a backhoe and orange fence/mud. Bathroom is all black, looked dirty, shower liner had mildew/ mold which touched the floor of the shower.

Excelent place. Great location. Units are brand new. The only thing i would caution you about is if you have a bad knee you should ask what type of stairs your unit has. Ours were kind of ladder stair combo and were very difficult. The staff was awsome, very freindly and helpful with a messed up booking.

Too much noise to enjoy

Concept is cute. Unfortunately we were there when there was some sort of drainage repair happening right outside our door. It was way too noisy to enjoy the cute little deck. The cabin was very cute and very clean. But, the sofa was small and hard and not very functional (although had we been able to use the deck we probably wouldn’t have minded). The price was too high for the experience we had. Maybe just bad timing.

Lots can be said about our stay, highlight was the steam room and outside tubs. Room was nice and no clutter. Comfortable bed. Downside was the spiral staircase, not a great idea. Cleaning staff (the lady especially) very intimidating by staring at you all the time when seeing you and they do not understand the words "hello" or "good morning". Staff seems to only care about the restaurant. Even though we liked the steam room, it was never cleaned during our visit as the same waste left inside was there all the time during our stay. Only received the rules of the property 2 hours before checking in (so while we were driving 56 hours there with no signal we had to try and stop to sign in before we got there), good luck to who ever travel with pets, there will be a surprise. It says 4 people can stay in the room, but the sleeper couch downstairs is not clean once opened and not something you want to be sleeping on. Will we be back, nope we won't. Sad because the place does have a lot of potential, but poorly managed.

The staff was great and responsive. I loved the use of text messages to communicate. The grounds were immaculate and after it snowed, someone was out immediately ensuring all the walkways were safe. The town was adorable and this was just what I needed for a mini getaway. I will definitely be back.

Work

I stayed for a work trip. The location is good for the ski resort; it's not too far from town. Cast iron pots had sitting oil, there were no trash bags for the main bin, and there were no paper towels. The front office was quick to respond. "Kitchen " was very small, with no oven, two stove top burners, and a mini fridge, not ideal for extended stays. The stairs to the upper level were very tight, but the bed was comfortable. The downstairs couch was not comfortable to sit in. It wouldn't be my first choice to stay again, but I wouldn't say never again in the same token.

Unfortunately, our cabin looked directly into another cabin. River view was a very big stretch. There were no other rooms available so we were stuck with it. To make it worse, there are very bright lights on the building next door that were on all night, and since you cannot close the window due to the open design, we had a terrible nights sleep. A good idea in theory, but reality was a big miss.

Overall the hotel is very nice and clean. The only thing I didn’t like was how steep the stairs was to the bedroom. It was a little scary walking down, my daughter fell twice. Thank goodness it wasn’t serious. Other than the steep stairs, it would have been a perfect stay
