“Arrived to discover the entire town would be without water starting at 7:00 a.m. the morning after we checked in. The information was written on a small piece of paper at the front desk. We were not verbally advised of this change by the receptionist. Once discussed it was a kind of a shoulder shrug from the front desk and that was it! This meant that we could not enjoy our stay at all. The hot tub is a bit of a joke and you had to reserve time (limited to 30 minutes). No elevator and no offer……

“It is a cute place, be ready for a more rustic experience as far as bathrooms and washrooms go. The only thing I didn’t like is that it was a very flimsy lock, and we were the only ones on property for most the stay with spotty cell phone service. That part didn’t feel safe. If there were on site help or other campers around I think I would have felt more safe.”

“The room was clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was better than many motels for variety. And the staff was helpful. We didn’t use the pool. The weaknesses were the condition and cleanliness of the hallways and grounds. Long broken a/c units, dirty and cluttered carpets and weedy grounds were a turn off on arrival, plus whoever designed and decorated it had awful taste. But, the value was still in the pricing for a clean room.”
