“Emi and I had such a meaningful stay at this cabin. From the moment we arrived, the host family treated us like we were part of their own family. They are truly salt of the earth people. Genuine, caring, welcoming, and the kind of people you do not forget. Their kindness and hospitality made us feel completely at home. “While the cabin was very clean, there was a certain smell emanating from the air conditioning unit that was musty and unappealing. It was a hot night when we got there so it was necessary to run. The photos don’t show the two cabins that sit above right over the main road thru town, which was quite noisy. The check in process seemed to have way more steps than I’ve previously done at Air b &bs. We asked for a one hour later check out time of 11 am versus 10 am. Promt response of no, but nicely……

“Overall good experience. The place is in a quiet area. There is a wedding venue nearby, so when I arrived on Friday I could hear loud music, but it was over before 11:00 pm. The rest of the weekend was very quiet. I loved seeing deer on my porch. One thing I didn't like was pretty dark bathroom, so it was difficult to do make up. Also, lack of any counter space or shelves in the bathroom. As a woman on a long trip I'd like to have at least a small space where I can place my cosmetic bag. ”

“Very comfortable and clean new cabin. Woke up to a huge herd of elk one morning. Deer and fawn the next. Please note I expected a creek. There is NO creek or even trace of while we were there in July/August.”

“Great location for a home base for hiking, biking and sightseeing. We enjoyed seeing the deer in the evenings.”
