The hotel was in touch ahead of our stay, however, they never communicated that the pool and spa were closed for renovation. Although there's a substantial amenity fee, those are basically the amenities, aside from a bottle of wine and some small breakfast bites. We were highly disappointed given the pool is the main reason we pick this property and they had ample time to communicate this or even to post it on their website. The front desk staff were tremendously gracious, offering transportation to a sister property. We suggested a room a the sister property, but that was not offered. Silly because the sister property had many vacancies. Seems a bad business decision, as in the end, we opted for the full refund of what we paid.
