A clean, pleasant hotel with lots of light and friendly staff in the middle of little Leonardtown. I actually asked the front desk if they were new because of how clean everything was and they said they did a major renovation about 5 years ago. Easy (and FREE) parking across the street. Our room (a king bed) was clean and quiet. If we're ever in the area again, this is where we'd stay.

I usually stay in Solomons but when I found this hotel I will never go back to Solomons. What a beautiful location. All the rooms are water front and super clean. The restaurant bar next door offers a good variety of choices that are reasonably priced. I had the crab cake, it was the best I have ever had. I was worried about the distance but it actually took me less time to get to the hotel than it usually does Solomons.
I understand why the call it Maryland's best kept secret. Service was...

We actually were meeting with family for a funeral in nearby Callao, and this provided a very good place to meet and stay. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and the place is very clean, neat, attractive and comfortable. The breakfast was surprisingly good! And we appreciated the coffee available around the clock.

Mary, who I spoke with the day before our arrival was so helpful answering my questions. I did not catch the name of the girl who checked us in, she too was very nice and very accommodating .

You can find a great deal from $75 on Zacata motels with Expedia. Typically, prices are higher during popular times – like weekends and holidays – while staying midweek is often cheaper. To find the best nightly rates on Zacata motels, try to be flexible with travel dates, and sort search results by price from low to high.
Is it better to stay in a Zacata motel or hotel?
Motels and Hotels have different perks. When you stay at a motel, you’re likely to find free parking and an outdoor pool. Staying overnight at a motel, can be handy when requiring easy road access. You’ll often have access to your room from outside, and directly from the parking lot. Hotels generally have room access from inside the building. Motels are also often less expensive than hotels. The word “motel” was coined in 1925 by the owner of the Milestone Mo-Tel in San Luis Obispo, California.
