"I was very upset as big name of Holiday inn hotel I came by train from Rotterdam to Brussels by train in airport I was waiting for shuttle bus almost 1 hour waiting outside in cold . After I took taxi to hotel . Cost me money to get to hotel they should have shuttle every 30 mins in this kind of hotel . Very upset "

"A really lovely hotel. Exceptionally clean and the facilities are amazing. My room was lovely. Usb ports so no adapter needed. No complaints. Breakfast was also lovely, a very wide selection of foods on offer. My only negative comment is that when I arrived to check in at around 10pm there was not a staff member in sight. No notice on the desk and no call bell to ring. After almost 15 mins a staff member appeared. She said she'd been handling some room service. I think a notice on the desk may have been helpful so I wouldn't have been left wondering what was going on and if anyone was on site."

"Bar has patio. Fooseball table in lobby. Exercise room. Shuttle to airport. Room good size. Separate toilet room from shower. Heat wasn't working though and TV channel reception poor on some channels. Nice to have fridge and Nespresso machine. Big windows. "

"Almost everything about the hotel was great especially the staff. The drawbacks were the bed was very firm…which is really not to our taste. The other was the breakfast. While there was much from which to choose, the items we selected were mediocre at best. It all looked tasty but the quality was average which was a disappointment. I cannot compliment the staff enough though. They were friendly, helpful and everything one hopes to interact with upon arriving or departing a hotel. The airport shuttle is a bonus. Also, the train into the city center is conveniently located across the street from the hotel. The hotel is eco friendly too so another plus."

"Room was not ready on time due to large convention occuring at hotel the same day, so the reception offered to hold luggage and granted lounge access while we waited. However, no one was in the lounge (employee) when we arrived and there wasn't any direction on potential restroom available or other perks available in the lounge. While it was great that reception came up to lounge to hand out keycards once room was ready (only about 30 min wait) it was slightly disheartening to find out that our bags weren't in our room awaiting us and that we would need to go back down to reception to obtain them again. Would have been a nice feature to have to just go straight to room and bags be there or delivered shortly thereafter. Also, the room, while a 'junior suite' appeared to be laid out like a larger suite that was just blocked off with doors to other areas and the layout seemed poorly thought out (for example, table and chairs to eat, but no kitchenette or microwave/fridge to store food). Was extremely convenient to walk across small plaza and be at the airport for AM flight, though."

"Lovely hotel and stay. Primarily booked it because of airport shuttle, but learned after booking, the shuttle times were not regular throughout the day only morning or late afternoon, so took local transit rather than wait 2 hours for the next operating shuttle late afternoon. Suggest contacting the hotel for shuttle hours prior to booking if your rate is non-refundable."
