“I stayed in 3 hotels during my long stay at Victoria Falls, Pioneer was hands down the best one. The staff was incredibly helpful, including lending me their own charger for the night because I had lost mine. The property is beautiful and well-kept. I enjoyed my stay immensely. ”

“Batonka Lodge was booked as part of a package trip that we did to Africa. However, we extended our trip so stayed two additional nights at the Lodge. The lodge is small compared to some other places that have recently been built or being built but it was just right. It had a really cozy colonial feel to it. The staff were incredibly attentive and couldn’t be more helpful or friendly. The food was great and the rooms were clean and spacious. There was a shuttle bus to town but you could also……

You have access to your own pool just steps out your back door. Secluded and safe. Staff was fantastic. I don’t write many reviews, but this one is worth it. Highly recommended ”
