"Hotel Estelar la Fontana was a true experience for us. It's been 9 years since our last visit to Bogota, Colombia. I would make this hotel one of my top choices when we return. We would request room service for minor things in the evening and the gentleman that would bring it to us was amazing, polite and very informative when we had questions. At the breakfast buffet Denalys I believe was her name, would open the door for us, show us where to sit and always had a welcoming smile. My birthday was June 1st and the staff brought over a cheesecake and sang Happy Birthday to me. They made me feel really special. I would highly recommend this hotel. "

"Hotel is really nice. My spanish isn't great but staff was patient with me using my phone for translating. Breakfast was good, some days better than others without a lot of variety but always find something good to eat. THERE IS NO AC IN THE ROOMS. Which is pretty common in Bogotá, but something some foreigners may find strange or uncomfortable. During our visit the weather was consistently 65°F so having the two small windows open in our room was comfortable. I say one of my favorite things was the shower did have water pressure!!! This hotel had the best water pressure I have ever had in a hotel before. Having long, thick curly hair that is something I greatly appreciated. "
