Check in went poorly as there was some confusion regarding a change in meal options. Then the room we were put in had a leaky A/C unit so we were moved to another room which we then had problems with the door lock. This resort is located on one of the best beaches in Watamu. The staff is fantastic. Janet accommodated our late check-out and went above and beyond when our AC wasn’t working. We will definitely be coming back

In low season there are way too many touts about for the amount of travellers and it gets really tiring having to constantly deal with them. In high season I am sure it isn't such a problem

Watamu is a town with numerous beautiful, ambient and cost friendly beach hotels and resorts not to mention the awesome Watamu Marine National park. The locals are friendly and hospitable. I'd recommend Watamu any day.
