This was our second stay at the cottage. It is a perfect spot to enjoy all that Northern Arizona has to offer. The cottage is well- appointed and perfect for us and our dog. Marble Canyon Lodge has been around since the 1920s. There is a historical marker about the Dominguez-Escalante expedition in 1776 that came through here looking for a route to Monterey.
If you are used to city life this is definitely not that. This is a very small, remote town on the Colorado River, with few modern conveniences. Very dry, desert climate. Internet is spotty and slow at best. Beautiful natural area.
