“The Inn is upstairs from the restaurant. I believe my room was right above the kitchen, which made it very hot and very noisy. The thermostat in my room did not work which meant I had to open windows to get some relief from the heat. Normally not a problem, but because the kitchen was right below me, opening the window just made it louder and it felt like I could smell exhaust from the kitchen fans. I could clearly hear conversations from restaurant below. I was also put off buy the fact that……

“This property was old which wasn't a problem it was quaint but the fern room was comically small, felt like the top half of a barn, like the whole building was probably a barn. The room had ladybugs & flys, the ladybugs didn't bother me but the flys were making horrible buzzing sounds & we couldn't sleep so we had to kill the flys but left the ladybugs alone. Other flys never came back so that was good, perhaps someone left a door open. You could easily hear the rooms nearby like a simple radio……

“We had a wonderful experience staying at the Black Lantern Inn. The Inn is location on the main street, and very easy to find. We didn't get to the property until 1:00 AM, and the property were decorated with Christmas lighting, which made it cozy and super easier find the place, especially when it was so dark out. There's a small parking lot between the two buildings, and our room was in the Burdette House. The buildings are vintage, but the room has all the towels and basic shampoos, and……
