We took the train from Porto to Pinhao so did not have the benefit of a car. Lots of walking up very steep hills in Pinhao, but loved the challenge. The boat tours up the Douro are not to be missed, and we visited two wineries in 2 days.
All of the personnel were friendly and helpful
