"CLEAN, CONVENIENT, CHARMING! Our crew of 10, (to include 2 couples in our 60's, 2 couples in their 30's and our 2 young grandchildren), found Jane's home all of the above, . . . and then some! Spacious enough for everyone to have their own space. Enjoyed coffee in the morning on the front porch and cocktails on the back patio in the evening. Wish we had another 1/2 bath, but the home certainly accommodated our needs. Very receptive and friendly host. Thanks so much and all the best!"

"They room was very nice. Clean with upgrades and decorated with ferrier decor, very clever. We enjoyed the deck and the view. We also walked on the drive back to the River house. It was getting late so we did not walk the trails, but we saw deer and one fearless fawn! We decided when we come back, we will try the River house, since it is in the woods and we would be more likely to walk the trails. Our only complaint is the room was cold and we did no figure out how to raise the temperature. I highly recommend the Morris Estate. "

"The place was exactly as pictured. It was convent for what we needed. The “twin bed” is a pull out couch bed. Check in was super easy. It was easy to find. Had no issues. The mattresses were all a bit uncomfortable. Very stiff. But other than that it was a great stay and the host is VERY responsive. The river area is beautiful and the little town area is adorable. "

"When we first arrived we can tell this place was very nice! Our party of 5 fit very well. The pool table was VERY popular. The kids loved it as well as us adults! Great to have the washer/dryer too, that helped a lot. Not far from St Joseph Silver Beach, short drive to Norte Dame. Beds were fine, had a nice backyard. Train station is VERY close so if you want to hop on a train it's in walking distance. Niles downtown is nice, we did catch a movie at the nearby theatre and it was super cheap. Overall great vacation! Would stay again."

"The Loft is a great place to stay in Buchanan. The decor is fun and everything is very clean. The kitchen area is super modern. The host, Joseph, was very prompt in communication. I super appreciate that he let us know weeks before our trip that the roads downtown are torn up and offered alternatives if we decided the construction would be too intrusive. I have already recommended it to other family members and would happily stay there again."

"There were a lot of things to do all over the property. Swimming , hot tub , kayak, fishing and tennis are all fun and ready to go. The beds were especially comfortable and there were plenty of large spaces where we could all gather.A really nice space."

"Beautiful property! Clean, full of light, and with a great river view. The space is ample and tastefully designed. Very good dining options are around and highly compatible with walks alongside the river. Fully recommended. "

"Our stay was wonderful! A great place for families with kids of all ages! They supply most all of your daily necessities, toilet paper, paper towels, bath towels, shampoos, any kitchen item you can think of… Various coffee makers, crockpots, etc., they have pack ‘n plays, extra sheets, towels & beach towels(located in the pool bathroom). A huge gym, with assorted balls provided, game room, and a large, beautiful pool area and hot tub. The amenities are endless, but most of all, this is a space where family can be together to enjoy quality time with plenty of things to keep the kids busy. We have already booked our next trip! A big thanks to Matthew, the manager on being so thorough and prompt with his responses, and also very detailed in the variety of the amenities offered at the Black Oak Estates. "

"I needed some time away from life, a patch of quiet ground and some solitude to really get re-grounded and recharged. I found it here. The host gave a friendly wave as I drove back to my little cottage. She was available as needed but left me to my own peace and quiet given that my stay went off without a hitch. The inside of the cottage is cozy and charming. Since the night was going to be a cold one and I haven’t been camping in years, I wondered if I would end up wishing for a hotel. What I found is that having a space heater and a thick pile of warm blankets to keep the cold away was infinitely better for deep sleep than a furnace. All the essentials for a starter fire were provided, plus everything you’d need to stylishly rough it for a spell. The best part of it all for me were the two tiki torches on either side of the front door. They provided light for a surprising number of hours. As I lay in bed and took a leisurely time falling asleep, I would glance up at the door and see the orange glow from the lamps flickering through the curtains. They almost seemed to get brighter the later it got. On the way out, I took a snapshot of the old blue bus that’s parked near the road, and felt a little wave of emotion go through me. I have found inspiration for my life in both the book and movie versions of Into the Wild, and this bus could almost be the other’s twin (in spirit at least). I hope to come back and bring my wife some day. It’s a wonderful little escape. "
