“Check in was easy, property owner messaged to let me know I could check in early and allowed a late check out. (I am sure this could vary depending on other bookings) Kitchen had everything you would possibly need and an outdoor grill, beds were comfy. Foosball was a huge hit for the teenagers and adults. Fishing right out the back door. We will definitely book this again.”

“It was very clean and private. The wooded area was great. We saw deer every morning and evening. It’s a short walk or drive to the private river access which was amazing! There was gunfire every afternoon, which was not great, but not sure if it was on the property or someone ”

“My husband and I stayed at this sweet little cabin while in the area for a wedding. It was more than we could have hoped for a quick 2 night stay. The attention to detail in this cowboy themed cabin was both tasteful and entertaining. We enjoyed listening to the vintage country records (also used as decor) while hanging out. “We had a great time getting away for our anniversary in this wonderful cabin retreat. We were greeted by cows and donkeys, caught a couple of catfish and several bass, and enjoyed watching birds and squirrels from the rocking chairs on the front porch. It was very peaceful and relaxing. Owners are a lovely couple that stopped by as we left to see how everything went. We would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a quiet getaway and are already planning a return trip in fall.”

“What a great stay. Weather was awesome during our time there. Property manager was great and had 2 beautiful labs extremely friendly and well behaved. Place was perfect for 2 people. Well maintained and very cozy and peaceful. Fully equipped with everything you need. The only thing I think should be addressed would be the futon bed and mattress. Not too comfortable and a little difficult to slide back in. Other than that, I would give it a 10 rating ”

“What a wonderful place to disconnect with city life and enjoy the beauty of nature. The amenities were also a nice touch - fire pit, hot tub, outdoor grill, tons of outdoor seating and wi-fi (great for the teens in your life). A vast property to hike on and explore. The Brazos River was a relaxing excursion that you can hike to or drive to. They offer a lot of activities on the ranch if you want to be engaged that way, but we didn't do those. “I’ve never stayed in a cabin before, but needed to stay close by as our home was being built. This was a great cabin experience and really a fun place! Very clean and host is very responsive. We had a lot of fun there! Our sons came to visit and loved it. Think next time we will rent the big cabin along with this one in the spring. ”
