“This was a basic vintage hotel. It was comfortable and fine, but nothing to write home about. For instance, the rooms don’t have microwaves or little fridges. But the bathtub was really deep and awesome. It’s the kind you wanna get on the open ocean with a paddle and head your way to Hawaii.”

I checked in through a live person on camera, and later found out that the staff handling check-ins and check-outs were physically located in India. I just hope Super 8 has a strong protocol in place to protect guests’ personal information, since I was required to scan my ID and credit card during the check-in process.”

“The lobby and breakfast area are being renovated so all the pictures of the hotel first floor are fake. When we stayed, everyone had to take the breakfast to your room. The hotel and Expedia should notify guests that there is construction going on. It should NOT be a surprise when you arrive. ”

“The hotel is situated in the very noisy part of town. Basically the back of the building of my room was highway 101. The restaurant next to the hotel made it hard to have a parking spot by our building. In addition, one night the restaurant decided to pressure wash their roof and proceeded to do that at 11 o'clock at night. The hot tub and the pool area are cute. However, the hot tub sometimes did not feel hot and closed at 10:00 p.m. nightly. The room itself was clean and the staff was……
