“Very nice place, quiet and peaceful.”

“This is a cute property and has been made to feel like home. 2 bathrooms 3 bedrooms 2 pull out couches-we did not use, a washer and dryer and a fully functioning kitchen,-no dishwasher-unless you count yourself as one. We loved our stay. Our Athens Alabama experience was amazing. This property is right on the shore of the Elk River. On the balcony at night you can hear the coyotes scream and in the early hours of the morning you can hear the turkey's gooble. Very beautiful and very cool. We……

“Property was exactly that, a slice of Heaven. Cozy comfy beds and couches, nice place to recharge. Location is great, enjoyed all of Athens, explored the Huntsville attractions, and the Smokey mountains are a beautiful 2 hour drive away for an amazing day out. Property itself is safe and secured, and possibly the best sunrise you’ll ever have the pleasure of being a part of. The land around feels like home and could easily spend an entire day out there by the pond, enjoying all the wildflowers……

“We have never vacationed during Christmas before. This was a perfect choice. There is LOTS of room in the house. The beds are very comfortable. The owner was very attentive, checked in via text just to make sure all was well and see if there was anything we needed. Fishing, simply from the dock, was fun and rewarding with 5 lb catfish and the largest bluegill I’ve ever seen!”

“This VRBO was wonderful! It was so clean, and i am super picky. It was one of the most, if not the most serene/peacful places i have ever stayed. It's a little out of the wat, but that's the point. I would recommend this place to anyone, especially one who is looking for a restful, peaceful escape. The only suggestion I would give, and this isnt to the Host, just grab whatever groceries you think you are going to want/need on the way. It's a bit of a drive to a grocery store if you check in……

“I enjoyed the feel of the container home, and the area was quiet and respectful of privacy even with so many people around. It was an easy location to find, and the container home was clean, neat and set up well. There were some minor maintenance problems that were inconvenient, but the concierge over text was very polite and reactive even though repairs could not be made in the time of my stay. Overall, a nice place to rest while I spent time in the area.”
