“I love NorthStar and stay here every year. The property and accommodations are beautiful. Getting there late in the evening was a bit of a challenge to find my room, after wandering around lost at 11pm thankfully I tracked down security and he was super nice and showed me the way! With such a large resort anything not adjacent to the lodge really should have an escort especially at night! “I am so glad we booked this place for our family to help us celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. It was perfect! Loved the different levels which felt strange at first but provided space for children and adults much needed space. We loved having the lake right there-- and those who braved the cool lake temps had a blast. Once they froze they could easily spray off and jump in the hot tube in the bottom level of the house. “Bigger than it looks. 4 bedrooms. 3 with a queen bed the 4th with a king bed. 2 large living areas with comfortable couches, 1 downstairs and the other in the upstairs loft. We were greatly accommodated. Will stay there again. Thank you! ”

“It was difficult to go inside because the view was so compelling! We were 7 adults and 2 small kids and had plenty of rooms and plenty of room to be together. The kitchen had everything we needed and seats for everyone. Location ideal. The house did have two room air conditioners but it was tough to keep all parts of that large house cool. We had record heat during our stay in July so that was part of it. Overall great for a family visiting Lake Tahoe.”

“Let me start off by saying the two-star review seems a bit harsh. Here are my thoughts. Indeed, the pool lights go off at 9pm and you can't be loud past that time. The neighbors aren't super close, but I'm sure this property had issues with noise in the past and that probably ruined it for everyone going forward. The pool table and ping pong tables are smaller than your typical, but I thought the shuffleboard table was legit. The house was clean, no issues there. We had mild weather so I can't……
