“One of the reasons that I wanted to get this place was because of the backyard. But when we got there, it was dirty. The table and the chairs and the grill were filled with spiderwebs. There was no way I was going to use that. Also, it’s like a double property rental. There’s a house behind it and there’s a gate that separates the two houses. At one point, there was a man standing right outside of the kitchen window, which really freaked me out. The communication with the host was not terrible,……

“We had an incredible Memorial Day weekend stay in Avalon! This condo exceeded our expectations and gave us the perfect Catalina experience. The amenities were amazing — we loved snorkeling right outside our doorstep on the private beach, using the mini greens, and enjoying the tennis courts, croquet court, volleyball courts, barbecue areas, heated pool, and spa overlooking the ocean. “It was a scam. I got scam . My reservation was canceled. U caused me emotional stress. We were late to our son’s soccer tournament. We drove about 2 hours to receive this??? I had to find another place to stay with our newborn baby and a toddler. Marriot don’t offer any stay. I’m will never book through Expedia, cuz it left me and my family with worse ever experience. We were basically thrown under the bus with my kids! Horrible experience! I would like to get reimbursed for my other stay and……

“The house is perfect for a family or two. Lots of beds, and they are comfortable. It was the perfect house for 9 family members, and we could have fot many more. Grandma stayed downstairs so she did not have to climb stairs. This was perfect. The fire pit on the second floor was nice, and the location is amazing. It is a very short walk to The Village and the Marina. Great fishing right at the marina. We caught bass and catfish. A perfect place for our Big Bear vacation.”

“Ella Homes is a predatory property management company and I would advise anyone to never rent from anything from them. My family was evacuated due to the GNK chemical explosion threat in Garden Grove. I have a young son and two vulnerable elderly parents at home. I booked this property on Sunday May 24th before there was any clarity on if and when we could return home. On Monday 25th county and state officials gave us the clear to return home. “Loved our stay! We stayed for BottleRock, so we did not spend all day by the pool, but we did get use of the hot tub, the views in the morning, and the pool table at night. Family of 5, 3 of which were college students, had a great time.The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and the beds were very comfortable. Would recommend for a family or a group of friends.”

“Beautiful property. Well stocked kitchen. The backyard is like your own private resort. The outside kitchen was nice and we used it.We used the Hot tub a lot. The fireplace was great place to chill out at night and chat. All that plus good mood lighting. Wow!Also very important to me were nice beds and bedding.I have no problem recommending this property.”

“Overall such a wonderful stay! Walking distance to so many shops and restaurants. I was thinking the pool was on the property but it's outside of the main area we stayed and a little walk. Most likely on me for not reading that part. My family and I had a great stay.”
