“Hotel is conveniently located in downtown Ponta del Gada and we had a room with a view of the harbor, which was fun. The front desk staff were really helpful, setting us up with ebikes and parking. The breakfasts were excellent, especially the cooked to order omelettes. We had dinner at the restaurant one night and it was one of our best meals. Only complaint is that the bathroom was too dark - hard to get ready when you can hardly see yourself! But this was minor and we had a great stay.”

“The room we stayed in was an unusual floor plan. Everything was very sparse. Both bathroom doors had to be slammed to get them to remain closed. Had very few amenities for what was called “a five-star hotel”. Had to continually ask for towels, tissue, and toilet paper. Disappointing. However, the concierge staff was helpful in activity planning.”
