“This cottage makes the most of its small space. It is comfortable, cosy, pretty and has everything for a short or longer stay. It is perfectly located for Baslow and all that it has to offer, including just a short stroll from the wonderful village shop. I enjoyed my stay very much but, in my opinion, it is overpriced. Also, be aware that the neighbour has a routine of early to bed, early to rise (5.30 am.) Not particularly conducive to a holiday!”

“If you are looking for the perfect stay stop looking ! After driving up from London to explore the Peak District we were delighted to arrive at a very new, designer appointed lovely home ! “Loved Torr Top Place! As a solo older lady who wanted to visit Manchester’s Christmas markets, this was a perfect base. The kitchen was well equipped, sitting room cozy, bathroom modern, and everything immaculate. Uber transport was readily available and Sainsbury’s (local grocer) was a short walk away. “What an absolute little slice of paradise! G was a fantastic host making sure we got to our field alright and showed us how everything worked before leaving us too it. “We have just returned from a couple of nights at Brewers Cottage and thoroughly enjoyed it. The cottage is spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and bigger than it seems from the photos. Foolow is convenient access to some lovely areas and walks in the Peak District, and just a 10-15 minute walk from the cottage is the local pub that does fabulous food and has very friendly staff.
