"The place was clean. Property definitely needs some trees removed and many repairs throughout. For example, the hot water handle broken on shower. Unsatisfied with this . No coffee maker as advertised, Small fixes that make a difference. Cottage 5, not worth it. Early in season, had all winter to get right"

"The wall of windows overlooking the water was gorgeous! The deck was nice to watch the tide come and go. Walks along the beach were peaceful and relaxing. We had fun shopping in downtown Ellsworth and Bar Harbor. The sights in Acadia are not to be missed! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!"

"My husband, our 3 teenage kids (15, 16, and 16), and Pepper the pug rented out the two pet friendly yurts. These were perfect to have a nature feel but with amenities to suit a day of sweating from adventuring in Acadian National Park! The owners were so friendly and tentative and would text back whenever we reached out. "Everything was great. House was very clean. As noted in description there is a second house on the property that is located between you and the water. No one was there so it was just fine, not sure if someone was staying there how it would be. Ability to access kayaks whenever we wanted was a nice touch."

"This wonderful apartment is located on the Quiet Side of Mount Desert Island, which was a big plus for us! As an added bonus, there is a grocery store (and a laundromat) 0.1 mile away. The beds and sofas are comfortable, the kitchen fully stocked with all the bakeware, cookware, crockery, flatware and utensils you will need. The bathroom is tiny, but certainly serviceable. And the owners, Tim and Sian are regularly updating and improving the property. Overall, we had a delightful stay!"

"My husband and I stayed here and loved the boathouse. It was so peaceful and had amazing views of the pond. It's in a great location close enough to downtown areas and hikes but far enough away that it was really tranquil. We also enjoyed staying in for the evening and eating dinner on the dock. The kayaks were also a great touch and we loved our morning paddle. Also, everything was clean, safe, and in working order. This is definitely a spot to return to."

"Enjoyed our stay. Cool location.. felt like we were at sea… looking out the windows we were right on the water. Enjoyed dock access. Tried fishing… not much luck. Cabin wasn’t fancy, but we expected a more rustic feel. Kitchen was small but functional. Bathroom and shower very small but functional as well. A/C worked well, was modern, and cooled down the cabin, as it was unseasonably hot. Check in and out instructions were very clear."
