“I will back ”

“Inn rooms were out because of double booking and the owner gave us a cabin. The cabin was well equipped and the location was quiet and convenient for exploring Arcadia. The lobster dinner and clam chowder at the store is a must!”

“The low price reflected the quality of the hotel. Our room was tiny by any standards. The sliding door for the bathroom was very difficult to open or close. The sink drain filled up with water so quickly that I used the bath faucet for everything. AC was loud. Very little shelf space in room or bathroom. Only a few electrical outlets available and no USB ports. On the plus side, everything was clean, bed and pillows comfortable, parking was right outside our door, and desk clerk was……

“Wow! This was the most beautiful place. The property is tucked up on a beautiful lot of trees and ferns. Our room was just gorgeous with beautiful furniture, wallpaper and a fireplace. I couldn’t believe we were staying in such a storybook place. I found Mike at the checkin super kind and helpful. He also gave great recommendations for hiking based on my husband’s mobility needs. His advice was perfect—made our trip! You can literally enter Acadia from the trails directly behind the hotel.……

“Property is ideally located for easy commute to downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Overall the room was clean. It is in need of updates, kitchen appliances clean but rusted. Main bedroom mattress was old spring loaded and uncomfortable. However, our daughter said the pull out sofa was comfortable. Housekeeping service not provided, even though a tip envelope was left in the room. Also, there was a constant sewage smell outside, that would blow in through when AC was running.……

“There was a lot of humidity in the room and only one garbage can that was in bathroom. No microwave in room either. Room lighting was very dim. Hard to read anything in evening. Kids enjoyed pool. Breakfast options were very minimal.”

“We only booked this place for one night - actually by accident. It was a happy accident. I would have liked to have stayed a few more days. Very rustic , quiet and quaint. Thank you Gail for a lovely stay.”

“The staff was lovely and super helpful and even printed out our Acadia pass for us! Rooms are clean, the overall area of the motel is quiet and well organized. This is a comfortable and honest motel.”

“Rooms were very clean, decently sized and located in a beautiful area but nearly an hour drive from the main section of Acadia National Park. Breakfast was acceptable but fairly limited. Property had a small hot tub and small sauna but both were only usable for possibly four people at a time so amenities were limited. Stairs up to the rooms did not appear to be in code and were steep so difficult to get the luggage up the stairs.”
