"This is an absolutely lovely place to stay. The views of the river are so soothing, and the neighborhood deliciously quiet. The owners were responsive & helpful when we ran into an internet problem. Kitchen is minimal but I didn't go there to cook ;-) We had fun exploring the nearby towns (Bath and Washington) and the wildlife reserves, but the best part was just sitting on the deck and breathing."

"We booked our visit for our nieces wedding which was cancelled due to storm and flooding, the house and our car did not flood. The house was beautiful, roomy, cozy and very comfortable. Loved the bay views from the front porch. The host greeted us and couldn’t have been any nicer."

"Nicely maintained home with all you need for a perfect stay. Nestled on a quiet street just minutes walk from historic downtown and riverfront walk. Large covered porches with the back porch having a river view and we enjoyed an occasional slow moving train going past. Management is very accommodating and fast to respond. Highly recommend."

The decor is tasteful, the home very comfortable, and Melissa was very attentive and responsive. We had one issue upon check in but Melissa was quick to respond and resolve it. "Rented the property for my daughter’s graduation from ECU. So glad we picked this tranquil spot to stay rather than the city! The house has lots of space, the kitchen is well stocked with essentials, and the view from the living room is spectacular! Most of our time was spent sitting in the yard just talking! Enjoyed sun rises on the pier and some fishing, even though the fish weren’t biting much!"

"The house and property are one of the most beautiful places we have stayed. The house is adorable and immaculately clean. We had everything we needed for an amazing stay. We enjoyed walking the neighborhood, dining at Oriental and New Bern, and most content just sitting outside and admiring the views of the water. We were pleasantly overwhelmed with peace and tranquility. We loved our stay! We are already planning to come back in August. Thank you."

"I can’t say enough about this property. The pictures online don’t exude how beautiful and clean this home is. It also had all the amenities you’d need - full kitchen, toiletries, cooler and camping chairs - you name it! And it’s right on the gorgeous waterfront and walkable to the cutest town with delicious restaurants and a nice walking path along the marina and waterfront. Amy was also so attentive on text when needed. 10/10!!"

"Our family enjoyed our visit to the Pamlico River while attending ECU graduation activities. There was plenty of room for 9 adults to spread out. The house was incredibly clean too. If any questions come up the owner was quick to respond and hospitable. I would absolutely recommend considering friends and family to stay at this beautiful house on the water."
