"Bridge View was everything we hoped for and more. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely relaxed and welcomed by the charm of this beautiful coastal cottage. The home is thoughtfully decorated with cozy midcentury Maine vibes, and the renovated scallop boat lounge is such a unique and memorable touch.Waking up to the sight and sound of boats just a stone’s throw away, along with the salty ocean air, was magical. We loved walking through the quiet fishing village where everyone was super friendly, and exploring the stunning Downeast coastline was simply amazing. The location feels peaceful and authentic — far away from crowded tourist spots, yet close enough for incredible day trips.The cottage itself was spotless, comfortable, and incredibly charming. You can really feel the care and attention put into every detail. We played games, laughed and loved listening to the vinyl collection. We truly took a step back in time and truly cherished family time. It was the perfect place to unwind, reconnect, and experience the true beauty of Maine.Hosts were so responsive and had so many great recommendations for us for local areas.
