"This was mine and my husbands' first trip to Maine and Wanda made us feel right at home. She was always quick to respond and helpful with advise and recommendations. This little Dyers Bay cottage was such a nice place to come back to after an afternoon of exploring the area. We were blessed with perfect weather and temperatures and the sunsets were beautiful. We missed the sunrises because, being from KY, we never realized that it gets daylight at 4:30am, lol. We wish it was that way in KY :)...

"This was an awesome place to stay! The cabin had everything we needed and was clean and in a beautiful location. The check in process was seamless. The owner Steven checked in with us a couple of times via text to see if we had any questions or needed anything.. Which I appreciated. I would definitely recommend staying here!"

"This is our second stay. When they say 1 step above camping that is misleading. By that I mean, if you have camped, this is 20 steps above camping. You have a stove, refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. It has a screened porch, a deck and right on the pond. There are lights and outlets to charge phones and there is service for phones! "As soon as my spouse and I walked in, it was almost like a magickal getaway! The lighting, the smell, the atmosphere overall was so relaxing and warm and inviting! Amanda had so much prepared and setup for easing into our vacation, getting comfortable, having the little things ready for the morning. The yard is on a forest active with birds and squirrels and other critters - even saw a wild turkey! AMAZING PLACE! Wonderful! Thank you!!!"

"Me and my boyfriend came to Maine to hike in Acadia National Park and despite the distance (~40 mins) from ANP, decided to stay here. We didn’t regret the decision! We loved coming back here to relax at the end of the day. We even took advantage of the kayaks one morning. The area is just very peaceful overall and this cabin is very cozy."

"The cottage was in a perfect location for my family's one week stay. Only a short drive to Bar Harbor, the beach at Seal Harbor and the trails and carriage roads of Acadia. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need for preparing any meals. The air conditioner and heaters (one cool night!) worked very well. I recommend this cottage to everyone planning on visiting the area!"

"Words cannot accurately describe the beauty of this property. Located right on the ocean, the views are spectacular and we enjoyed every minute we spent here, taking in the sunrises and watching the lobster boats in Frenchman's Bay. We loved staying in Hancock, which is a nice distance from all the places we love to visit when in Maine Chippers Restaurant is right down the road and my husband enjoyed the Lobster Alfredo immensely. "This location was comfortable, clean, and offered easy access to the downtown area of Bar Harbor, as well as the Acadia National Park entrances. We had enough space for three of us, including the number of bathrooms, lounging in the living area, cooking in the kitchen, and sitting out on the deck. "Good location on a quiet street only 10 minute walk to downtown. We only used the master bedroom (there is a second bedroom) and the bed was quite comfortable. Photographs on Vacasa’s website give the impression of a much more modern, updated home than reality. House is satisfactory and in reasonable shape, but condition and furnishing do not warrant the premium price. Also Vacasa was not very responsive to our repair requests (issues were not urgent but did deserve attention)."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property and would do so again. Clean, comfortable, everything we could need was there, and the location was perfect for exploring everything while an easy walk to town. Our pups enjoyed the yard and were at ease in the quiet neighborhood. The owner communicated well and promptly. We even had fresh flowers! "We had a very nice stay. The view of the inlet with all the lobster boats was beautiful. We enjoyed the dock/water access as well - our kids were able to spend some time fishing and even waded in the water. The drive is a little far to Acadia (a little over an hour) but we were still able to use the rental home as a base for visiting the National Park."

"It’s name says it all. A perfectly sized, literal “bed room” in the middle of the woods. The fire pit had wood all ready for me to use. If you were to come in the winter, the tiny home has a wood stove to use as well."

"This house was just spectacular. We were looking for something that was quiet , on the water, and this house didn't disappoint. Close enough to so many activities but far enough from the crowds of Bar Harbor. The house was very very clean and had everything we were looking for. Chad was extremely accommodating in any questions we had and was a pleasure to work with. No issues at all staying here. Highly recommended !! Thank you Chad !"
