Private Riverfront Log Cabin Retreat on 1.5 Acres, Bordering the National Forest

Enjoy all that central Oregon has to offer from this lovely, spacious handcrafted log home with over 100 feet of river frontage on the Deschutes River. About 10 minutes southwest of Sunriver, 30 minutes from Bend and 30 minutes from Mt. Bachelor, this is the perfect vacation spot for rest, relaxation or outdoor fun. From a peaceful 1.5 acre setting at the end of a quiet paved road, bordering National Forest on one side and the river on another, you can set out by bike, kayak, paddle board, on foot, or by car to enjoy the beauty of the area.

The great room features reclaimed wood flooring and a lodge-style, floor to ceiling stone and steel 2-sided gas fireplace, perfect for cozy evenings indoors. Two-story windows look out on the expansive lawn and Deschutes River. The dining room table expands to seat up to 10, with additional breakfast bar seating for 4. A well-equipped kitchen includes granite counters, double wall ovens, dishwasher, electric cook top, waffle iron, coffee maker, espresso machine, crock pot, blender & more. The backyard deck and campfire area are lovely spots to enjoy an evening drink or dinner. A 6-person spa is a great place to relax in every season. Enjoy our wine refrigerator and wine honor bar- take a bottle, leave a bottle of your favorite wine. For baby, there is a convertible high chair/booster seat & Pack-N-Play.

Two bedrooms on the first floor (including the master) each have a queen bed with Kingsdown quality mattresses. The master bath (no shower) features an inviting two-person Jacuzzi tub. One additional hall bath with shower and tub serves the first floor. Two second floor bedrooms share a hall bath with tub, shower and double sinks. One of these second-floor bedrooms has 1 queen bed, and the other 2 queen beds in a bunk bed arrangement.

An upstairs loft area includes games, cards, puzzles and one TV with Netflix and DVD player (please note, there is no cable TV, but guests are able to use our Netflix account, as well as access their own HBO, Amazon Prime Video, Sling TV or other streaming services.) The house does have high-speed wifi.

Three kayaks (2 single and 1 tandem), two stand up paddle boards, and 4 (adult) bikes are available for guest use. (Kayaks and paddle boards available spring through autumn only, due to weather and river levels). You can launch your kayak or paddle board right from our yard, and have someone pick you up downriver! There's a ping pong table in the (unheated) garage.

There is no air conditioning in this home, but fans are provided for each bedroom. Generally, on the river, the weather cools down nicely at night, even on the hottest summer days.

Aveeno toiletries are provided for guests' use, in each bathroom.

We love our pets, and you do, too! This house is pet-friendly, and while we make every effort to keep it sparkling clean, please be aware if you do have pet allergies.
- Please, no pets on furniture
- Separate rental agreement and liability release (for swimming, bikes, and watercraft) must be signed by guest

PLEASE NOTE: At this time, we are not hosting weddings. For more information, please contact us.
