"Pool was closed since the previous week. We rented here because it had an indoor pool and we had 2 kids with us. We should have been informed prior to check in. Toilet was broken in one room. Clerk was friendly and helpful but being the only employee, had to wait for her to come to try fixing it. No soap or shampoo in either room. Our " Suite" was supposed to have a whirlpool tub, no tub. We stayed one night, left early next morning without the breakfast buffet that was advertised, there was next to nothing there as far as food. Didnt get a refund because we had booked through a 3rd party, Hotels.com Dealing with them is no better. They make it incredibly difficult to report an incident. "

"What a great place to stay! The hosts were very attentive and made sure that we had everything that we needed. We were able to take full advantage of all of the amenities, and even caught a few fish of of the dock. The kids enjoyed visiting the nearby Civil War sites as well. "The rating on this property is very misleading. This place is a dive and i did not stay there, because i did not want to put my family in jeopardy of running into some meth head that lives at this property. The reason they dont offer a refund is because its way of them keeping the money without anyone staying there. One room I was shown had a bubbled floor and cuts all in the vinyl flooring and stunk to high heaven, like it had been flooded and not properly repaired. This place is a joke."

Clean room, however, when asked about the Breakfast in the morning, was told they didn't have "Hot Breakfast" only frozen sandwiches and waffles. So, we ended up finding a diner close by.
