“We recently stayed at The Beacon Hotel, Cardiff. As a 3-star hotel, it’s fairly basic and not the most modern or spotless, but it was adequate for a short stay. The location is convenient for getting around Cardiff, and the room had the essentials we needed. Breakfast was enjoyable, with a decent selection to start the day. A special thank you to Fatima, who looked after us really well during breakfast. She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. Her service was definitely the……

“Booked at short notice, the staff were very accommodating and the hotel easy to be in with a family. The rooms were lovely. The view from the property is stunning, we will definitely return. The only downside was the lack of gluten free options available from the bar menu. That is something that perhaps we could have mitigated had we not booked at short notice. The breakfast had all gluten free options available and was great. Strongly recommend a stay here.”

“It's a student halls of residence. If that's what you're expecting I would imagine you'd be very happy with the room. If you're expecting a hotel, it's not a hotel. It was exactly as I was expecting. Comfortable, no frills, perfectly fine for a one night stay for me. Wifi was great. A little bit of noise at times, it's student accommodation, but not too noisy by a long way. I recently stayed at the IBIS in Bristol and that was far noisier. Would happily book again for a short stay.”
