Was just looking for a place for a good deal with clean sheets, and it was exactly that. There’s no front desk there so it’s best to message the property before arriving. I didn’t realize this until I got there, so walked down the road to KFC to get wifi and message. She replied within minutes, then came and picked us up in her car and drove……

“Extremely disappointing stay at LUX* Le Morne. While the property positions itself as a luxury resort, the experience fell far short of that standard. A major issue was the presence of a large number of cats roaming freely across the property, including around and inside restaurant areas. This was not disclosed anywhere on the website or booking platforms. This is particularly concerning as my wife is allergic to cats and became extremely uncomfortable and anxious throughout the stay. They can cook some eggs and the rest from the buffet: yogurt, tasteless bread, some cheese and musli - that’s it. Overall a nice stay but no more than 2 nights”
