“The husband and I stayed here for the 2nd half of our 20yr wedding anniversary trip. It was our first time visiting Great Sacandaga Lake. Even though the water levels were really low (late September) we were still able to get out on the water…. did some fishing, explored Sand Island and even caught an amazing Pike. House was very clean and kitchen stocked well, check in was extremely easy! Brian the neighbor was super friendly and helpful. Would absolutely stay here again!”

“Second time to choose this place”

“First, the TV didn't work in my room. I tried another room and the internet didn't work. The Internet was very spotty. Going out several times during the evening and reestablishing a connection required a full sign on each time. Second, the sheets were very itchy. I examined the bed very closely and there were no bedbugs but I supect that the laudry soap used to clean the sheets was too harsh.”

“Great place for a getaway with my dogs. Very well kept, nice staff and management. Beautiful setting. Lots of fun watching the trout.”

“A cozy little cabin in the Adirondacks! It was a great base for our explorations, and a lovely place to rest when we weren't adventuring! The wooden ADK chairs on the sunny porch and relaxing hammock were favorite spots! Touches like having games, walking sticks, and even a guitar available made it feel like home. Our host was responsive with communication, and all the information and suggestions throughout were very thoughtful. Will keep this on our list of favorites!”
