“John's studio was perfect for mine and my fiance's last minute weekend get away to Idyllwild. The space looked just like the photos and was indeed very cozy as stated in the listing. It was modern, well decorated, and the kitchenette was stocked with cooking supplies. The location was so convenient to town, and the check in/out process was easy and straight forward. We would absolutely stay again when we return to Idyllwild!”

“The house was exactly as described and clean. We had a small delay in one communication with host but they were very apologetic and responsive thereafter. The location was excellent; very close to the town center and trails as well as a nice neighborhood for extra dog walking. The gazebo was a beautiful place for afternoon reading, naps, birdwatching. And we loved that Idyllwild gave us the quiet 4th of July evening we needed.”

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cute property and really loved the hot tub as well as fireplace. However I would recommend bringing an umbrella or shade as it was extremely hot and could not enjoy the large patio for the one main day I was there. It was dark inside the cabin……

“We stayed at this property to celebrate my husband‘s birthday over Labor Day weekend. The king size bed was the worst ever! Hard as a rock! We even brought our own mattress topper, and it was still terrible. If you want to get a good nights sleep, this is not the place to do it. It was dog friendly with a hot tub. However, there is a lot of deferred maintenance. The main deck was peeling and not safe for my dogs paws. I almost got a splinter on the handrail going down. Lots of cobwebs on the……
