5/5 - Excellent
The town of Idyllwild is really a must-see. There are no brand shops and no franchise brands in the town. The support of local brands and employers is great. Safe, quiet and also very green.

When in Fern Valley, you can plan a visit to Idyllwild Nature Center and Idyllwild Park, some noteworthy sights in the nearby area.

Absolutely fabulous stay. Location in the heart of Idyllwild. Great cabin - 14 is a double. Our cabin had a great porch with a picnic table for wine or coffee, a fireplace, a living room with a pull out sofa that has a super comfy memory foam mattress, a kitchenetter with sink/fridge/microwave and ...

Really cool cabin with unique styling. Loved the welcome snacks! Cocoa and s’mores was the icing on the cake to give the place a homey vibe. And it’s great to feel so remote but have only a 10 min drive to the quaint downtown area.

We went when there was a heatwave. It should have been in the 30's and 40's, but it got as warm as 60's. There was hardly any snow (kind of the whole point of the trip). Idyllwild is as nice as always.
I love this town so much. It was my first time here and I really enjoyed the atmosphere and how nice everyone was. Really really kind and great people. I loved the stars at night and how quiet it got at night
Love going to Idyllwild for the hiking opportunities, nature, the small town feel with lots of options for shopping and eating and just relaxing. Plus it's an easy 2 hour scenic drive from San Diego.
Cute and quaint little town. Not too far from everything, yet just far enough. Cute shops. Lots of pet friendly options. And the locals are super sweet.
Our family has stayed in Idyllwild many times over the past few decades and we have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves each time. All there are super friendly and it is the perfect epitome of that much needed breath of fresh air away from the big city.
