“This place is unique, and the huge trees on the property are amazing. You can pick your own fruit and macadamia nuts even, and keep or eat them. The set up of the "common area" is a bit odd, with the main room being part of the hostesses house. The pictures of the beautiful kitchen that I saw in the listing was very misleading, as the kitchen is 100% hands off, guests are not allowed to touch it. Which was really weird and not welcoming, and odd that you can be right next to the hosts personal……

“Excellent location. Room was different than expected with pictures shown. They are a mix of rooms. Once I figured out some things, all was amazing. Quiet. Safe. Comfortable.Great location for exploring the island. Walkable small beaches. Received a lot of different emails about the property and checking in. It made it confusing but figured it out. Its kind of like staying in a friend's guest room. Never really saw anyone.”

“The induction cooktop was great. Outside shower worked well. We had trouble with Internet, it was a poor signal. Would suggest Star Link. The bedsheets kept popping off the bed. Got a couple beautiful sunset pictures from the porch. ”

“staffs were nice and helpful. But the hotel itself was old, bedding was clean but too small couldn’t fit the king size bed. The room has very poor soundproofing, and noises from the hallway can be clearly heard. The facilities are outdated and do not justify the $400+ per night rate.”

“It was very cozy and clean. The host was very hospitable and accommodating. They had beach chairs and snorkel gear for use and offered advice on local areas to visit. Very nice. Would definitely stay there again”

“English Complaint Draft The curtains offer poor sunshade. Sunlight comes through clearly at 6 a.m., and they cannot be fully closed. The old-fashioned air conditioner is extremely noisy. There are also cockroaches in the room. What's more, parking fees are charged in advance, yet we are told there are no available parking spaces. Do you need me to simplify this into a shorter version, or a more conversational version?”

“Amazing view and deck, responsive and engaging/friendly host, comfortable and cozy spot to stay in on the Kona Coast. We had a really excellent trip, and this was a great home base for it. ”
