“A solid clean room with 1/2 mile of walking to Boothbay harbor. 2 stories high, no elevators. Less expensive than those around it. It fit our needs well ”
“We were in a room that was average but clean but rooms in a n adjacent one story building that looked like a shed,Building not appealing! Have potential visitors ask the number of room and stay clear of 412 and adjacent room in same building! Room not worth $
”
“Harbor view was very nice, staff helpful, room comfortable. A few things needed updating ( for example the toilet seat was crooked and needed to be tightened up). Overall we would stay here again. It would be perfect if they would add a nice breakfast area but other small restaurants are nearby. We went to Waves for breakfasts.”
“We really enjoyed the boat ride and the s’mores around the fire pit. If we had longer to stay we would have taken a kayak out and hiked the walking trails. Location is very convenient to Botanical Gardens and a nice walk across the footbridge to explore town. BOOTHBAY and Spruce Point are a wonderful destination!”
“I would say this property is Unique!!!
There is no Front Desk;; check in is a code for the main door and coded key lock box with a key to your room.
Checkout is the same. Everything is done via email and phone.
What makes this place Great is the Restaurant attached to the Inn. Food is Amazing and the service is Awesome as well!!! The are owned by separate entities.
There are only 6 rooms which makes it nice as well and located walking distance to downtown Boothbay Harbor.
The only downfall is……
“We very much enjoyed our (too brief) stay at this quaint, quirky, and comfortable inn. Steve, the host, was welcoming and makes yummy banana bread. The gardens in the back made a wonderful spot for stargazing.”
“Exactly as advertised! 1950’s with all expected details a bit dated by current standard. Clean. Nicely appointed. Super-comfortable king bed with luxury feel linens and pillows. Bath linens and supplies on par for today. Would happily return. Walking to town and leaving the car behind was a real bonus!”
