"Clean quiet and beautiful property "

"This ranch cottage was absolutely perfect for our 15th anniversary trip. The love and care the owners put in to the property is so evident. The landscaping is beautiful and you’re given access to wander the property and visit the animals. The cottage had all the things to make traveling easy. All we needed to pick up was some groceries. It was so nice having a fully stocked kitchen so we could cook if we didn’t want to go out to eat. The drive into Yosemite takes a bit of time, but the drive itself is so picturesque and we enjoyed being a bit further out. We also spent a day bumming around in Mariposa which has some cute shops and restaurants. The property itself is so quiet and the number of stars we could see was breathtaking. All the animals on the property made me smile often. I enjoyed seeing the cows and their calves come up to the fence in the mornings while having coffee on the covered porch. The outdoor bathtub was perfect for relaxing in after a long and strenuous day of hiking on the Mist and John Muir trails to see Vernal and Nevada falls. We were even blessed with a super moon while there. I highly recommend going to hike the trails in the Mariposa Grove of the Giant Sequoias. That was one of the highlights of our trip. Something about standing next to 2000 year old trees is just magical. Thank you Gayle and Stephen for opening up your home to us for this experience. "

"Overall, an amazing property, the cabin itself was nice, instructions for pretty much everything, check-in was easy and straightforward, did not have to see a person at all, and was all done through the app and text, checkout process was easy as well, the only real downside was the Lack of a TV and the small heater in the bathroom, burning my fiancé’s leg, the placement is not ideal and could be a hazard to small children but besides that, they stay was great and would do again"

"It's a great place, the cabins are new, it's a beautiful place, there are shops, Starbucks, and some restaurants nearby, and there are barbecue grills on site. I really enjoyed it. We stayed there for three nights, my whole family loved it. The only problem was that the stove kept getting stuck, and it was difficult to get food ready quickly. It took a while. It's a shame they invested in such cheap stoves, but that's the only problem. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd gladly stay there again. Yosemite Park is 1 hour and 20 minutes away, but as soon as you drive through town, the views become more and more beautiful. You don't feel like the road is long; you just enjoy the view outside the window, which is amazing. I really recommend this place to anyone who enjoys contact with nature."

"The room was better than expected. Very comfortable bed and plenty of room. The decor is very nice with lots of care taken to decorate in a retro fashion while still being modern. Lots of nice places close by, including a great wine bar next door. Highly recommended if you are staying in Merced"
