“This is a lovely, updated, modern unit with everything you need to enjoy your Boothbay stay. Clean, comfortable beds, nice linens, lots of seating, and modern appliances. The coffee pods and toiletries were nice extras. The view is into the surrounding wooded area, very peaceful and quiet at night. It is just a couple miles from a grocery store and the harbor area. “It was our first trip to Boothbay and we couldn't have been more pleased!!! The Shipbuilder's retreat was well appointed in every way! Wide open, well cared for, and comfortable. We enjoyed coffee on the deck and playing games in the evening. It was a convenient trip to the local grocery store, and was very near to all the beauty and joys of the Harbor, light house's, LL Bean (an hour), and hiking. We LOVE it!
