"Very far away from town centre, no shops around, supermarkets a bit far away. No shower, and not even plug on the bath, just an old towel. Expensive, 50 per day, for that price you can book at Travellodge with toilet inside the room and in conditions, plus maybe breakfast included. The only good thing was ability to cook"

"Rather a quirky place on the edge of Bristol. There is a bus stop right outside, very convenient, took about 40 minutes into city centre so no parking to worry about. Our room was rather dark with heavy wood and colour scheme, but well enough equipped, although there was a considerable amount of traffic noise. Tiny shower and diy breakfast (plenty of it). The owner was away but the gentleman who welcomed us was very friendly and chatty. This was not a luxury stay but fine for a stopover. "

"Great place and great host! We had a room at the top of the place and it was a bit noisy outside at around 10pm but after that we slept great. Our toilet wasn't flushed from the previous guests when we arrived but besides that the house was spotless. Charles was a very welcoming host and made us an incredible breakfast. It is situated perfectly with great independent eateries and bars within a short walk. Parking is a little difficult and if there were some way of communicating exactly when a space would be free that would be more convenient. The lack of a working freezer compartment was the only other downside although...
