“1st vacation in years for "us Grandparents". Honestly, just looking towards the western sunset made our stay excellent. My wife and I only drove a couple of hours for this stay and we would have traveled much further (if needed). Overall, it felt like a home (away from home) for us. The time flew by very fast & that helps explain how our time was very enjoyable. We liked feeling so welcome, right from the start. We had a chance to enjoy water (right out the back door)... Fishing, boating, a……

“We had two of the cabins on this property with Family! Our stay was wonderful! People on the lake, so the dock was helpful. The kids enjoyed the beach and the swim raft! Having use of the kayaks, wasn’t Added bonus. Great memories made!”

“We had a great time staying in Emily’s lake house. Pictures portray it accurately. Inside of home has been completely renovated and is very clean, comfortable and cozy. Can’t beat the location right on the water. Short drive to Walmart, Meijer, Kohls among others. Nice choice of restaurants nearby. Snow lake connects to Lake James, and a few other Lakes. We spent time at the sandbar and went tubing. Would definitely stay here again! Kids kept asking if we could stay here again next year! ”

“The cottage provided us everything we needed. It was easy to get in and out and the owner was very responsive to requests. I have not had a gas stove since I was a kid living at home and I found that cooking on it was like riding a bike. It gave me a bit of nostalgia as well.The location was great for us. Close to town, and to our own cottage that is currently gutted. Also easy drive into the Lake James/Jimmerson area - which of course you need to arrive to Tom's Donuts early if you don't……

“This was our second trip to this house on Rose Lake. The house is well stocked, very comfortable, and just as described. We love the crib for our littlest and the space to spread out for the rest of us. The swimming off the dock and sandy bottom made for excellent memories! Looking forward to coming back again soon.”
