“What a fabulous hotel. Don’t be put off by its location in a commercial area. We stayed there for three nights to attend a wedding at the nearby Casa Sontanja. It was the perfect base. Just a short drive down the coast on our spare day. Whatever your reason for being in the area, I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough.”

The gardeners are also very friendly and have done a fantastic job. The pool area does need some attention. New sunloungers and a bit of money spent on the poolside itself”

“Location good. It is rustic. The patina on floor tiles and stairs is wonderful to see. It is very charming with traditional shutters and feels like a special place that has seen a cosmopolitan life and celebrations and been central to it. Bring a camera there are so many inspiring textures and plants that meander. It took me a moment then I got it. I loved it. If I was getting married I would definitely hire the whole place for a wedding. If not hire a room and enjoy a g&t underneath a fan in……

The view of the bay is stunning as all of the rooms overlook the beach and indeed the hotel’s beautiful gardens. If you are looking for a full-on, adrenaline pumped, pool- gamed hotel … this is not the hotel for you. Here you find a sophisticated, relaxed, refined vibe that suites couples and travellers wanting a quieter place to stay. Our room was large, clean, comfortable with a large bathroom and terrace……
