“Le petit dejeuner est ouvert assez tard pour nous 08h. Les transats ne sont pas confortable, pas de matelas. Pour un 5* tres etonnant.”

“Hier is een nette en evenwichtige versie van je review: Mooie accommodatie met vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel dat hard werkt. Het ontbijt was eenvoudig, maar prima verzorgd. De kamer vond ik echter wat onhandig ingericht. De badkamer bood weinig privacy en beschikte alleen over een verzonken bad, waardoor je een stap naar beneden moest maken. Daarnaast was er geen mogelijkheid om de douchekop op te hangen, wat het wassen van je haren lastig maakte. Ook was er slechts één spiegel aanwezig……

“Absolutely beautiful room (ritual) with spacious terrace. The whole complex ist very well maintained. Breakfast was delicious and diverse. I really hope to go there again one day.”

“We stayed for 3 nights, however the air conditioning didn’t work after the first night due to a fault in shutting the outside doors. We had staff come in and out throughout night/early hours to try and fix it. It broke again after two hours so had to have them come back in again. It then worked ok”

“The first night the AC didn't work, after speaking to the reception a maintenance man fixed it. The pillows were unusable, they were solid tube shaped and it went straight across the double bed. We were bed and breakfast, it was a shame there wasn't a kettle in the room. Unfortunately our stay coincided with a group (about 60) of school children who were very well behaved but they all descended to the pool and for food all together which was quite noisy. The breakfast choice was very good”

Free municipal car park five minutes walk away and a similar distance to Església de Santa Maria del Consol d'Altea (Old town church square) The room was lovely, the staff were friendly and professional It was a bit breezy, so we ran up a fair G&T bill in the little courtyard Not complaining. Worth every cent.”

“If you are looking for a nice room this is the place. But if you are expecting some basic service and hospitality (according to the price) forget it. Reception is mostly closed. And there was no one to attend for check-out. It was a mess and got treated very unprofessionally. We were scolded on WhatsApp for wanting to leave our luggage for a couple of hours before flying off.”

“3rd trip to the Serawa. Excellent small hotel with amazing staff. Joanna on reception is an asset to any business and is very very helpful. And Vania and Carmen made every breakfast fun and friendly. All of the guys in the kitchen help make what I can only say is my favourite breakfast. The gardeners are also very friendly and have done a fantastic job. The pool area does need some attention. New sunloungers and a bit of money spent on the poolside itself”

“Great setting, lovely hotel, lovely pools & the included entry into the two theme parks was excellent. It was a busy weekend & feel the staff were overwhelmed at times, also apart from one or two members of staff, the rest of the staff always looked after, served etc etc the Spanish guests first & foremost, which was frustrating as we are Scottish but after living in Spain for 21 years & speaking Spanish was very frustrating. My wife suffered an injury due to water leaking into the floor……
