“We were appreciative to have a place to rest, as our originally booked hotel had overbooked and could not accommodate us. Fortunately, we only needed a room for a few hours. Had our stay required more time, we would have continued our search elsewhere. The toilet in our room was not functioning properly. Although the handyman was courteous, his only solution provided—lifting the tank lid to manually flush—should not be acceptable for a paid guest room. Additionally, one of the pillows had……

“Unfortunate to say but my review will only be about how we never stayed there versus our expense as guest. Thankfully we did not pay in advance because we would be dealing with a refund. We reserved a double bed for one night too be closer for our family member's continued travels somewhere else. Not really sure if this is their regular preached of giving away people's reserved rooms but that was our fate with Economy Inn: Pittsburgh Airport. No further explanation but that there was no room.……

“The best thing about this property is the amazing staff. They are the absolute best, must friendly hotel staff I have ever encountered. Breakfast could be better but it is okay. The wonderful hospitality makes up for the mediocre breakfast. I mean it’s complimentary so… Thanks Microtel for hiring such great staff”

“Considering age of the hotel, the room was pretty clean (I had a kitchen suite). The property is just older- the parking lot entry could stand to be repaved for sure. I didn’t get breakfast, but did try to get coffee. The coffee was empty, and when I asked the front desk about it she was visibly annoyed and told me to check with the breakfast attendant. There was no attendant avaiable (I waited several minutes). My biggest complaint is noise. The fellow next door started playing music at 630……
