"Beautiful property on the West End. We have stayed in Negril many times and this is by far one of the best resorts we have stayed. The location is perfect. The staff is incredible and Paul, the lifeguard, is a dear friend we met a few years ago. The Lodge food is amazing. And the 3 dogs there are sweethearts. Just a great laid back vibe you would expect in Negril."

"Staying at Idle awhile cliff is a great stay, however be aware of the very idle vibe. Things are extremely relaxed. Most people go out for dinner in the evenings, so staff is normally gone by 7pm on the dot. "Overall we had a nice stay. Adults with tweens and teens. The staff was friendly. The rooms were decent nice property. I would say they need more pool space because when they’re at full capacity, the seating became a challenge. We did the bike tour that was fun. My friends enjoyed the spa. "I recently stayed at Princess Resorts with my family and had a very disappointing experience. Before arrival, my daughter spent weeks trying to update my reservation from two guests to one. Expedia and the resort kept redirecting me to each other, and no one resolved it. As a result, I was overcharged for a two-person stay. During the stay, housekeeping woke my family 2.5 hours before checkout by banging on the door and yelling, despite the “do not disturb” light being on. Service at the Jamaica Food Market was also unwelcoming—the hostess Sonya refused to let my daughter wait for my son in law and Grandsons to return from the restroom before directing us to our table and had a very uncomfortable attitude. Amenities were limited. The water park closes at 5 PM, and the food truck was already closed and out of food by 4:30 PM after a long travel day. We were told the ice cream shop was 24 hours, but ice cream stops at midnight. The game room has age restrictions (13+ and 18+), which excludes my 7 and 11 year old grandsons. Food at the sports bar was poor, and kids aren’t allowed after 8 PM. I had to babysit one night due to this just so my daughter and son in law could have a nice evening. I was looking forward to doing karaoke with them but someone had to watch the kids. Drinks were watered down unless you had a specific wristband. The room also had a sewage smell from standing water in the shower. Overall, not truly all-inclusive or family-friendly. I would not return."

"This is my second stay at the resort, given that it was at full Easter capacity it was excellent service. From check in to check out and all in between. Towels, food and bev, room cleanliness-all the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The hotel had plenty of activities to entertain the whole family from kids to adults, we were able to find space by the pools whichever we went to so they were very well prepared for a full house… The food was great, the only thing we found tricky was reservations since I think most people with privilege booked in advance. Nonetheless the buffet was always offering different and tasty food, loved the little themes and accents around the dishes and stations. The Easter desserts were fab for the kids. A great and memorable stay. "
