“I was a completely unplanned visitor who trekked the moors at night to reach the Inn. Though the only thing that happened on the moors was fulfilling an American's silly Holmesian fantasy of walking the moors at night, everyone was concerned for my safety and I really appreciated that. My stay was wonderful, the food was really delicious, and everyone with whom I spoke was just up-front and pleasant. I will be back some day and guess where I'll stay?”

Hotel is right outside the station, and a short distance from the centre of town. Breakfast offers continental or full English (best bacon ever). Loved playing solitaire in the bar - small selection of games/packs of cards available. Lovely place to stay. Highly recommended.”
